the origin of our name
Read A Story
On a morning after a storm, a man went for a walk by the sea. As he strolled along the shore, he noticed that in the puddles on the beach, there were many little fish that had been swept ashore by last night’s storm. They were trapped in these puddles, unable to return to the sea just a stone’s throw away. There might have been hundreds or even thousands of trapped fish. In no time, the water in these puddles would be sucked up by the sand and evaporated by the sun, and these fish would die.
The man kept walking. Suddenly, he noticed a little boy ahead of him, walking very slowly, constantly bending down next to each puddle – he was picking up the little fish from the puddles and forcefully throwing them back into the sea. The man stopped and watched this boy, as he saved the lives of these fish.
Finally, the man couldn’t resist approaching him: “hey boy, there are hundreds, thousands of fish in these puddles. You can’t save them all.”
” I know,” the boy replied without looking up.
“Oh? Then why do you keep throwing? Who cares?” the man said,
“The little fish cares!”
The boy replied as he picked up another fish and threw it into the sea.
“This one cares, and this one, and this one, and this one…”
“Missing kittens care, abandoned puppies care, injured animals care, they care.”
